India's aviation sector has witnessed tremendous growth over the past decade, with a 10-12% annual growth rate. The country's aircraft orders stand at an impressive 1,700, the highest globally. Naidu attributes this growth to the government's focus on expanding regional connectivity, making air travel more accessible to the masses.

The minister highlighted the government's collaborative approach, stating, "We want to collaborate, not just gain. We aim to contribute to meaningful discussions, debates, and shape a sustainable, safe, secure, and technology-led future for all." State governments are actively engaging with global leaders and conglomerates to explore opportunities, with Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Assam leading the charge.

Madhya Pradesh officials met with prominent global leaders, including Sri Lankan conglomerate Krishan Balendra, Chairman of John Keells Holdings PLC; Hashiyama Shigeto, representative director and Executive Managing Director of Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC); Jay Galla, Co-founder, Chairman, and Managing Director of the Amara Raja Group; Herve Couraye, Advisor to TouchLab; and Jasmin Hume, CEO and Founder of Shiru. Karnataka's Minister for Commerce & Industries and Infrastructure, M B Patil, has also initiated strategic engagements at the WEF.
